The Stearns Minutemen basketball team (Millinocket, ME), was overwhelmed 66-30 in Tuesday's league battle with the visiting Mattanawcook Lynx (Lincoln, ME)
The Lynx now possess a 9-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Lee Academy for a C North battle on Thursday, February 2.
The Minutemen (8-7) will now prepare for their battle against Bangor Christian (Bangor, ME). The Patriots come into the non-league battle with a 1-13 record. In their last battle, Bangor Christian was overwhelmed by Deer Isle-Stonington (Deer Isle, ME), 24-22, in a non-league battle.
