The Morris Area/Chokio-Alberta Tigers (Morris, MN) basketball crushed the visiting Melrose Dutchmen (Melrose, MN), 58-29 in Tuesday's non-league test.

The Tigers (3-11) will now prepare for their test against West Central Area (Barrett, MN). The Knights go into the AA Section 3 test with a 7-9 record. In their last test, West Central Area walloped Osakis (Osakis, MN), 52-45, in a non-league test.

The Dutchmen now own a 3-14 record. They play next when they host B O L D for a non-league test on Thursday, February 2. Melrose will encounter a Warriors squad coming off a 63-28 league win over Renville County West (Renville, MN). The Warriors record now stands at 13-3.
