The Springfield Tigers basketball team scored 59 points and restricted the host Minnesota Valley Lutheran Chargers to 42 in the Tigers non-league victory on Tuesday.

The Tigers now sport a 7-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Buffalo Lake-Hector-Stewart for a A Section 2 contest on Friday, February 3.

The Chargers (1-15) will now prepare for their contest against Tri-City United [Montgomery-Lonsdale/Le Center] (Montgomery, MN). The Titans come into the non-league contest with a 7-12 record. In their last contest, Tri-City United [Montgomery-Lonsdale/Le Center] dropped by New Ulm (New Ulm, MN), 74-30, in a non-league contest.
