The Monroe Township Falcons basketball team scored 55 points and held the visiting North Brunswick North Brunswick Raiders to 47 in the Falcons non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Falcons now sport a 9-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Mount St. Mary Academy for a non-league contest on Thursday, February 2. Monroe Township will meet a Lions team coming off a 47-31 non-league loss to Morristown (Morristown, NJ). The Lions record now stands at 13-6.
The North Brunswick Raiders (3-10) will now prepare for their contest against Hamilton (Hamilton, NJ). The Hornets enter the non-league contest with a 7-9 record. In their last contest, Hamilton ran past West Windsor-Plainsboro South (Princeton Junction, NJ), 28-26, in a non-league contest.
