Illinois High School Basketball - Morris can't hold off Sandwich

The Sandwich Indians basketball team scored 36 points and held the visiting Morris Redskins to 35 in the Indians league triumph on Tuesday.
The Indians now sport a 9-19 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Earlville for a non-league contest on Thursday, February 2. Sandwich will battle a Red Raiders team coming off a 54-28 non-league loss to Amboy (Amboy, IL). The Red Raiders record now stands at 12-15.
The Redskins (8-20) will now prepare for their contest against Wilmington (Wilmington, IL). The Wildcats enter the non-league contest with a 10-16 record. In their last contest, Wilmington was nudged by Lisle (Lisle, IL), 49-45, in a league contest.
