Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Mt. Enterprise Wildcats (Mt. Enterprise, TX) and the host Overton Mustangs (Overton, TX), saw Mt. Enterprise's basketball squad knock off Overton by a count of 44-28.

With the victory, Mt. Enterprise upgrades its record to 9-11 on the campaign.

Next up, the Mustangs play the Cushing Bearkats (Cushing, TX) in a 2A Region III District 22 challenge, on Friday, February 3. Overton will attempt to upgrade on its 14-12 season record. The Bearkats come into the challenge with a 14-9 record after their 58-37 league win over New Summerfield (New Summerfield, TX).
