Colorado High School Basketball - Severance crushes Niwot

January 31, 2023: Niwot, CO 80503

Severance Silver Knights (Severance, CO) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host Niwot Cougars (Niwot, CO), 75-12 in a league bout.

With the victory, Severance upgrades its record to 5-12 on the campaign. The Silver Knights host Fort Morgan (Fort Morgan, CO) to play the Mustangs in a 5A/4A Longs Peak bout on Thursday, February 2. The Mustangs come into the bout with a record of 0-17. Fort Morgan lost 81-22 in their recent league bout against Mountain View (Loveland, CO)

Next up, the Cougars play the Skyline Falcons (Longmont, CO) in a 5A/4A Longs Peak bout, on Thursday, February 2. Niwot will attempt to upgrade on its 2-14 season record. The Falcons come into the bout with a 3-13 record after their 84-10 league loss to Riverdale Ridge (Thornton, CO).
