The Winterset Huskies basketball team (Winterset, IA), was routed 53-29 in Tuesday's league battle with the visiting North Polk Comets (Alleman, IA)
The Comets now sport a 15-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Ballard for a Raccoon River battle on Friday, February 3. North Polk will battle a Bombers team coming off a 64-44 league win over Gilbert (Gilbert, IA). The Bombers record now stands at 14-2.
The Huskies (11-8) will now prepare for their battle against Ballard (Huxley, IA). The Bombers come into the Raccoon River battle with a 14-3 record. In their last battle, Ballard was routed by North Polk (Alleman, IA), 60-52, in a league battle.
