North Carolina High School Basketball - Rocky Mount Prep ripped by Northwest Halifax

The Northwest Halifax Vikings basketball team scored 66 points and held the host Rocky Mount Prep Jaguars to 36 in the Vikings league triumph on Tuesday.

The Vikings now sport a 11-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Warren County for a 1A Conference 9 contest on Wednesday, February 1. Northwest Halifax will meet a Eagles team coming off a 65-38 league loss to Northampton County (Gaston, NC). The Eagles record now stands at 5-11.

The Jaguars (3-9) will now prepare for their contest against KIPP Pride (Gaston, NC). The Pride enter the 1A Conference 9 contest with a 0-12 record. In their last contest, KIPP Pride was routed by Wilson Prep (Wilson, NC), 55-46, in a league contest.
