The Northwest Rankin Cougars (Brandon, MS) basketball knocked off the visiting Warren Central Vikings (Vicksburg, MS), 65-51 in Tuesday's league test.

The Cougars (6-7) will now prepare for their test against Ridgeland (Ridgeland, MS). The Titans go into the non-league test with a 12-12 record.

The Vikings now own a 12-8 record. They play next when they travel to Callaway for a non-league test on Thursday, February 2. Warren Central will encounter a Chargers squad coming off a 77-46 league win over Jim Hill (Jackson, MS). The Chargers record now stands at 21-5.
