The Stephens County Indians basketball team (Toccoa, GA), was overwhelmed 49-26 in Tuesday's league battle with the host Oconee County Warriors (Watkinsville, GA)

The Warriors now possess a 7-14 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Franklin County for a AAA Region 8 battle on Friday, February 3. Oconee County will confront a Lions team coming off a 47-44 league win over Monroe Area (Monroe, GA). The Lions record now stands at 8-14.

The Indians (3-18) will now prepare for their battle against Hart County (Hartwell, GA). The Bulldogs come into the AAA Region 8 battle with a 15-7 record. In their last battle, Hart County was overwhelmed by Hebron Christian Academy (Dacula, GA), 72-24, in a league battle.
