The Orting Cardinals basketball team (Orting, WA), was nudged 42-36 in Tuesday's league battle with the visiting Steilacoom Sentinels (Steilacoom, WA)

The Sentinels now possess a 9-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Sound Christian for a non-league battle on Wednesday, February 1. Steilacoom will battle a Lions team coming off a 37-12 league win over Muckleshoot Tribal (Auburn, WA). The Lions record now stands at 14-3.

The Cardinals (4-6) will now prepare for their battle against Clover Park (Lakewood, WA). The Timberwolves come into the 2A South Puget Sound battle with a 6-8 record.
