In Tuesday's league match, the host Palestine Wildcats basketball team scored a decisive 56-34 triumph over the Rusk Eagles.
In their next game, the Wildcats meet the Jacksonville Fightin' Indians (Jacksonville, TX) in a 4A Region III District 18 match, on Friday, February 3. Palestine will attempt to move on its 16-11 season record. The Fightin' Indians enter the match with a 24-8 record after their 36-28 league win over Bullard (Bullard, TX).
