Prairie View Buffalos (La Cygne, KS) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Wellsville Eagles (Wellsville, KS), 53-21 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Prairie View upgrades its record to 8-3 on the season. The Buffalos travel to Santa Fe Trail (Carbondale, KS) to clash with the Chargers in a non-league bout on Friday, February 3. The Chargers go into the bout with a record of 12-2. Santa Fe Trail won 61-21 in their recent non-league bout against Iola (Iola, KS)

Next up, the Eagles clash with the Osawatomie Trojans (Osawatomie, KS) in a non-league bout, on Friday, February 3. Wellsville will attempt to upgrade on its 1-12 season record. The Trojans go into the bout with a 0-14 record after their 60-18 non-league loss to Baldwin (Baldwin, KS).
