California High School Basketball - Sacred Heart of Jesus nipped by Ramona Convent

January 31, 2023: Los Angeles, CA 90031

The Ramona Convent Tigers tipped the host Sacred Heart of Jesus Comets basketball team by a final score of 61-55 in Tuesday's league game.

In their next game, the Tigers face the Holy Family Gaels (Glendale, CA) in a Soledad game, on Thursday, February 2. Ramona Convent will attempt to move on its 21-6 season record. The Gaels enter the game with a 6-16 record after their 54-19 league loss to Pomona Catholic (Pomona, CA).

With the defeat, Sacred Heart of Jesus moves to 9-11 on the year. The Comets travel to Alverno Heights Academy (Sierra Madre, CA) to face the Jaguars in a Soledad game on Friday, February 3. The Jaguars enter the game with a record of 4-11. Alverno Heights Academy won 31-15 in their recent league game against San Gabriel Mission (San Gabriel, CA)
