In Tuesday's league match, the visiting Rappahannock Raiders basketball team scored a decisive 71-38 triumph over the Westmoreland Eagles.
In their next game, the Raiders meet the Essex Trojans (Tappahannock, VA) in a Northern Neck match, on Thursday, February 2. Rappahannock will attempt to better on its 14-3 season record. The Trojans enter the match with a 4-7 record after their 61-29 non-league loss to Jamestown (Williamsburg, VA).
With the defeat, Westmoreland moves to 5-10 on the year. The Eagles travel to Colonial Beach (Colonial Beach, VA) to meet the Drifters in a Northern Neck match on Thursday, February 2. The Drifters enter the match with a record of 6-11.
