The Richwoods Knights basketball team scored 45 points and restricted the visiting Washington Panthers to 42 in the Knights non-league victory on Tuesday.

The Knights now sport a 15-11 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Peoria Notre Dame for a Big Twelve contest on Thursday, February 2. Richwoods will battle a Irish team coming off a 53-31 non-league win over Deer Creek-Mackinaw (Mackinaw, IL). The Irish record now stands at 21-3.

The Panthers (21-3) will now prepare for their contest against Canton (Canton, IL). The Little Giants come into the Mid-Illini contest with a 17-11 record. In their last contest, Canton was nudged by Pekin (Pekin, IL), 41-30, in a league contest.
