Rio Vista Rams (Rio Vista, CA) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Vacaville Christian Falcons (Vacaville, CA), 42-21 in a league bout.

With the victory, Rio Vista upgrades its record to 7-9 on the campaign. The Rams travel to Highlands (North Highlands, CA) to play the Scots in a Sierra Delta League bout on Friday, February 3. The Scots come into the bout with a record of 12-8. Highlands won 43-37 in their recent league bout against Golden Sierra (Garden Valley, CA)

Next up, the Falcons play the Esparto Spartans (Esparto, CA) in a Sierra Delta League bout, on Friday, February 3. Vacaville Christian will attempt to upgrade on its 2-12 season record. The Spartans come into the bout with a 0-15 record after their 39-14 league loss to San Juan (Citrus Heights, CA).
