Starr's Mill Panthers (Fayetteville, GA) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host Riverdale Raiders (Riverdale, GA), 65-35 in a league bout.

With the victory, Starr's Mill upgrades its record to 13-8 on the campaign. The Panthers host LaGrange (LaGrange, GA) to play the Grangers in a AAAA Region 4 bout on Friday, February 3. The Grangers come into the bout with a record of 6-15. LaGrange lost 54-8 in their recent league bout against Fayette County (Fayetteville, GA)

Next up, the Raiders play the Troup County Tigers (LaGrange, GA) in a AAAA Region 4 bout, on Friday, February 3. Riverdale will attempt to upgrade on its 10-11 season record. The Tigers come into the bout with a 10-10 record after their 60-28 league win over Whitewater (Fayetteville, GA).
