Southeastern Mustangs (Remlap, AL) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting West End Patriots (Walnut Grove, AL), 60-31 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Southeastern upgrades its record to 13-15 on the season. The Mustangs host Vinemont (Vinemont, AL) to play the Eagles in a non-league bout on Friday, February 3. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 14-10. Vinemont won 58-41 in their recent non-league bout against Falkville (Falkville, AL)

Next up, the Patriots play the Ragland Purple Devils (Ragland, AL) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, February 2. West End will attempt to upgrade on its 1-11 season record. The Purple Devils go into the bout with a 6-15 record after their 61-33 non-league loss to Westbrook Christian (Rainbow City, AL).
