Georgia High School Basketball - Taylor County overwhelms Webster County

January 31, 2023: Butler, GA 31006

Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Taylor County Vikings (Butler, GA) and the visiting Webster County (Preston, GA), saw Taylor County's basketball squad wallop Webster County by a count of 78-4.

With the victory, Taylor County upgrades its record to 20-1 on the campaign. The Vikings host Central (Talbotton, GA) to play the Hawks in a A D2 Region 6B challenge on Friday, February 3. The Hawks come into the challenge with a record of 4-13. Central lost 79-37 in their recent non-league challenge against Macon County (Montezuma, GA)

Next up, the play the Marion County Eagles (Buena Vista, GA) in a A D2 Region 6A challenge, on Friday, February 3. Webster County will attempt to upgrade on its 0-16 season record. The Eagles come into the challenge with a 5-17 record after their 60-42 non-league loss to Chattahoochee County (Cusseta, GA).
