Yorkville Foxes (Yorkville, IL) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host West Aurora Blackhawks (Aurora, IL), 42-30 in a league bout.

With the victory, Yorkville upgrades its record to 16-11 on the campaign. The Foxes travel to Oswego East (Oswego, IL) to play the Wolves in a SouthWest Prairie - West bout on Thursday, February 2. The Wolves come into the bout with a record of 6-19. Oswego East won 57-55 in their recent league bout against Minooka (Minooka, IL)

Next up, the Blackhawks play the Oswego Panthers (Oswego, IL) in a SouthWest Prairie - West bout, on Thursday, February 2. West Aurora will attempt to upgrade on its 14-12 season record. The Panthers come into the bout with a 6-22 record after their 49-34 league loss to Plainfield North (Plainfield, IL).
