Amador Valley Dons (Pleasanton, CA) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Granada Matadors (Livermore, CA), 44-29 in a league bout.

With the win, Amador Valley upgrades its record to 12-13 on the season. The Dons travel to Carondelet (Concord, CA) to clash with the Cougars in a non-league bout on Wednesday, February 1. The Cougars go into the bout with a record of 11-2. Carondelet won 63-32 in their recent non-league bout against Dublin (Dublin, CA)

Next up, the Matadors clash with the Livermore Cowboys (Livermore, CA) in a bout, on Friday, February 3. Granada will attempt to upgrade on its 11-13 season record. The Cowboys go into the bout with a 7-15 record after their 52-16 league loss to San Ramon Valley (Danville, CA).
