The Pulaski County Cougars (Dublin, VA) basketball knocked off the visiting Blacksburg Bruins (Blacksburg, VA), 52-43 in Tuesday's non-league test.

The Cougars (18-2) will now prepare for their test against Cave Spring (Roanoke, VA). The Knights go into the non-league test with a 2-11 record.

The Bruins now own a 9-6 record. They play next when they travel to George Wythe for a non-league test on Wednesday, February 1. Blacksburg will encounter a Maroons squad coming off a 37-33 non-league win over Bland County (Rocky Gap, VA). The Maroons record now stands at 14-0.
