Charlottesville Black Knights (Charlottesville, VA) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Fluvanna County Flying Flucos (Palmyra, VA), 45-44 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Charlottesville upgrades its record to 12-3 on the season. The Black Knights host Monticello (Charlottesville, VA) to play the Mustangs in a non-league bout on Friday, February 3. The Mustangs go into the bout with a record of 2-13. Monticello lost 66-24 in their recent non-league bout against Orange County (Orange, VA)

Next up, the Flying Flucos play the Spotswood Trailblazers (Penn Laird, VA) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, February 2. Fluvanna County will attempt to upgrade on its 8-10 season record. The Trailblazers go into the bout with a 12-0 record after their 44-18 non-league win over Rockbridge County (Lexington, VA).
