The Sunrise Mountain Miners (Las Vegas, NV) basketball nipped the visiting Cheyenne Desert Shields (North Las Vegas, NV), 31-26 in Tuesday's league test.
The Miners (9-4) will now prepare for their test against Mojave (North Las Vegas, NV). The Rattlers go into the test with a 1-6 record. In their last test, Mojave was tipped by Western (Las Vegas, NV), 34-32, in a league test.
The Desert Shields now own a 0-4 record. They play next when they travel to Palo Verde for a test on Thursday, February 2. Cheyenne will encounter a Panthers squad coming off a 55-18 league win over Las Vegas (Las Vegas, NV). The Panthers record now stands at 14-0.
