The Dixon Bulldogs (Holly Ridge, NC) basketball crushed the visiting Richlands Wildcats (Richlands, NC), 36-15 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Bulldogs (7-4) will now prepare for their test against Swansboro (Swansboro, NC). The Pirates go into the non-league test with a 7-5 record. In their last test, Swansboro was trounced by West Carteret (Morehead City, NC), 36-20, in a non-league test.
The Wildcats now own a 5-12 record. They play next when they travel to West Carteret for a non-league test on Thursday, February 2. Richlands will encounter a Patriots squad coming off a 36-20 non-league win over Swansboro (Swansboro, NC). The Patriots record now stands at 12-1.
