Monache Marauders (Porterville, CA) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting El Diamante Miners (Visalia, CA), 33-27 in a league bout.

With the win, Monache upgrades its record to 6-5 on the season. The Marauders travel to Redwood (Visalia, CA) to play the Rangers in a bout on Friday, February 3. The Rangers go into the bout with a record of 12-10. Redwood lost 30-22 in their recent league bout against Porterville (Porterville, CA)

Next up, the Miners play the Mt. Whitney Pioneers (Visalia, CA) in a bout, on Thursday, February 2. El Diamante will attempt to upgrade on its 9-1 season record. The Pioneers go into the bout with a 3-3 record after their 30-19 league loss to Redwood (Visalia, CA).
