The Laney Buccaneers topped the host New Hanover Wildcats basketball team by a final score of 20-9 in Tuesday's non-league game.
In their next game, the Buccaneers face the Hoggard Vikings (Wilmington, NC) in a non-league game, on Tuesday, February 7. Laney will attempt to move on its 5-5 season record.
With the defeat, New Hanover moves to 2-5 on the year. The Wildcats travel to Topsail (Hampstead, NC) to face the Pirates in a non-league game on Friday, February 3. The Pirates enter the game with a record of 15-1. Topsail won 29-25 in their recent non-league game against West Brunswick (Shallotte, NC)
