The North Wilkes Vikings basketball team scored 35 points and held the visiting Wilkes Central Eagles to 14 in the Vikings non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Vikings now sport a 12-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Surry Central for a non-league contest on Friday, February 3.

The Eagles (2-10) will now prepare for their contest against West Wilkes (Millers Creek, NC). The Blackhawks enter the non-league contest with a 6-11 record. In their last contest, West Wilkes was routed by North Wilkes (Hays, NC), 32-14, in a non-league contest.
