Porter Spartans (Porter, TX) fans were thrilled Tuesday as they observed their soccer team knock off the host Dayton Broncos (Dayton, TX), 3-0 in a league challenge.

Next, the Spartans confront the Lufkin Panthers (Lufkin, TX) in a 5A Region 2 District 16 challenge, on Friday, February 3. Porter will attempt to better on its 7-1 season record. The Panthers enter the challenge with a 6-4 record after their 4-1 league win over Huntsville (Huntsville, TX).

The Broncos now have a 2-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Nacogdoches for a 5A Region 2 District 16 challenge on Friday, February 3. Dayton will confront a Dragons team coming off a 3-1 league loss to Kingwood Park (Kingwood, TX). The Dragons record now stands at 7-4.
