The crowd at Tuesday's league test between the El Monte Lions (El Monte, CA) and the visiting Rosemead Panthers (Rosemead, CA), saw El Monte's soccer squad knock off Rosemead by a margin of 2-0.

The Lions now sport a 10-4 record. They play next when they travel to Arroyo for a Mission Valley test on Thursday, February 2. El Monte will meet a Knights squad coming off a 2-0 league win over Mountain View (El Monte, CA). The Knights record now stands at 6-9.

With the loss, Rosemead drops to 6-10 on the season.
