Ohio High School Ice Hockey - Normandy holds off Elyria Catholic

The Normandy Invaders ice hockey squad scored 6 points and restricted the visiting Elyria Catholic Panthers to 5 in the Invaders league victory on Tuesday.
With the victory, Normandy moves its record to 2-0 on the campaign. The Invaders travel to Roosevelt (Kent, OH) to face the Rough Riders in a non-league contest on Monday, February 6. The Rough Riders go into the contest with a record of 14-13. Roosevelt lost 6-0 in their recent non-league contest against Kenston (Chagrin Falls, OH)
The Panthers now sport a 5-11 record. They take the field next when they host Notre Dame-Cathedral Latin for a non-league contest on Wednesday, February 1. Elyria Catholic will face a Lions squad coming off a 9-6 league loss to Canfield (Canfield, OH). The Lions record now stands at 3-3.
