North Carolina High School Basketball - East Burke can't hold off Bunker Hill

The Bunker Hill Bears basketball team scored 44 points and held the host East Burke Cavaliers to 38 in the Bears non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Bears now sport a 11-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Maiden for a non-league contest on Friday, February 3. Bunker Hill will battle a Blue Devils team coming off a 78-61 non-league loss to Bandys (Catawba, NC). The Blue Devils record now stands at 8-8.
The Cavaliers (4-13) will now prepare for their match against Lincolnton (Lincolnton, NC). The Wolves enter the non-league match with a 7-9 record. In their last match, Lincolnton was nipped by West Caldwell (Lenoir, NC), 38-31, in a non-league match.
