Saugus Centurions (Saugus, CA) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Castaic Coyotes (Castaic, CA), 65-44 in a league bout.

With the win, Saugus upgrades its record to 19-2 on the season. The Centurions host Canyon (Canyon Country, CA) to play the Cowboys in a bout on Thursday, February 2. The Cowboys go into the bout with a record of 12-10. Canyon lost 61-53 in their recent league bout against Hart (Newhall, CA)

Next up, the Coyotes confront the West Ranch Wildcats (Valencia, CA) in a challenge, on Friday, February 3. Castaic will attempt to improve on its 3-14 season record. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a 13-12 record after their 62-50 league loss to Golden Valley (Santa Clarita, CA).
