The Chapel Hill Tigers (Chapel Hill, NC) basketball felled the visiting Riverside-Durham Pirates (Durham, NC), 59-39 in Tuesday's league test.
The Tigers (16-2) will now prepare for their test against Northern Durham (Durham, NC). The Knights go into the test with a 1-15 record. In their last test, Northern Durham was beaten by Southern Alamance (Graham, NC), 37-33, in a league test.
The Pirates now own a 4-13 record. They play next when they travel to East Chapel Hill for a non-league test on Friday, February 3. Riverside-Durham will encounter a Wildcats squad coming off a 57-51 non-league loss to Jordan (Durham, NC). The Wildcats record now stands at 6-10.
