Northgate Broncos (Walnut Creek, CA) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host College Park Falcons (Pleasant Hill, CA), 48-45 in a league bout.

With the win, Northgate upgrades its record to 5-7 on the season. The Broncos host Acalanes (Lafayette, CA) to play the Dons in a bout on Tuesday, February 7. The Dons go into the bout with a record of 8-9.

Next up, the Falcons play the Miramonte Matadors (Orinda, CA) in a bout, on Thursday, February 2. College Park will attempt to upgrade on its 6-16 season record. The Matadors go into the bout with a 6-8 record after their 65-20 league loss to Las Lomas (Walnut Creek, CA).
