The Salisbury Hornets basketball team scored 82 points and held the visiting East Davidson Golden Eagles to 23 in the Hornets non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Hornets now sport a 12-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to West Davidson for a non-league contest on Wednesday, February 1.

The Golden Eagles (2-15) will now prepare for their contest against South Davidson (Denton, NC). The Wildcats enter the non-league contest with a 3-15 record. In their last contest, South Davidson was routed by Thomasville (Thomasville, NC), 54-29, in a non-league contest.
