With the victory, Grimsley upgrades its record to 10-6 on the campaign. The Whirlies host Ragsdale (Jamestown, NC) to play the Tigers in a non-league bout on Friday, February 3. The Tigers come into the bout with a record of 8-11. Ragsdale won 59-46 in their recent league bout against Southeast Guilford (Greensboro, NC)

Next up, the Hornets play the Page Pirates (Greensboro, NC) in a non-league bout, on Friday, February 3. Western Guilford will attempt to upgrade on its 4-14 season record. The Pirates come into the bout with a 13-1 record after their 44-11 non-league win over College Prep & Leadership Academy (Jamestown, NC).
