Paradise Bobcats (Paradise, CA) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Live Oak Lions (Live Oak, CA), 50-34 in a league bout.

With the win, Paradise upgrades its record to 8-12 on the season. The Bobcats host Winters (Winters, CA) to play the Warriors in a bout on Friday, February 3. The Warriors go into the bout with a record of 12-8. Winters lost 51-45 in their recent league bout against Pierce (Arbuckle, CA)

Next up, the Lions play the East Nicolaus Spartans (Nicolaus, CA) in a bout, on Friday, February 3. Live Oak will attempt to upgrade on its 3-15 season record. The Spartans go into the bout with a 15-7 record after their 69-39 league loss to Colusa (Colusa, CA).
