The Manor Mustangs basketball team (Portsmouth, VA), was nudged 51-46 in Tuesday's non-league battle with the host Maury Commodores (Norfolk, VA)
The Commodores now possess a 5-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Norcom for a non-league battle on Friday, February 3. Maury will battle a Greyhounds team coming off a 45-37 non-league win over Granby (Norfolk, VA). The Greyhounds record now stands at 8-8.
The Mustangs (4-8) will now prepare for their battle against Lake Taylor (Norfolk, VA). The Titans come into the non-league battle with a 5-0 record. In their last battle, Lake Taylor edged Booker T. Washington (Norfolk, VA), 54-43, in a non-league battle.
