In Tuesday's league outing, the Panther Creek Catamounts (Cary, NC) basketball squad edged the host Middle Creek Mustangs (Apex, NC), by a count of 59-52.
The Catamounts (11-6) will now prepare for their outing against Green Level (Cary, NC). The Gators go into the non-league outing with a 15-2 record. In their last outing, Green Level held off Holly Springs (Holly Springs, NC), 68-43, in a non-league outing.
The Mustangs now hold a 6-12 record. They play next when they host Apex for a non-league outing on Friday, February 3. Middle Creek will clash with a Cougars squad coming off a 75-32 league loss to Apex Friendship (Apex, NC). The Cougars record now stands at 1-15.
