Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Minarets Mustangs (O'Neals, CA) and the visiting Yosemite Badgers (Oakhurst, CA), saw Minarets's basketball squad hold off Yosemite by a count of 40-39.

With the victory, Minarets upgrades its record to 10-6 on the campaign. The Mustangs travel to Chowchilla (Chowchilla, CA) to play the Tribe in a challenge on Friday, February 3. The Tribe come into the challenge with a record of 10-7. Chowchilla lost 43-41 in their recent league challenge against Liberty (Madera, CA)

Next up, the Badgers play the Sierra Chieftains (Tollhouse, CA) in a challenge, on Friday, February 3. Yosemite will attempt to upgrade on its 2-18 season record. The Chieftains come into the challenge with a 5-1 record after their 42-37 league loss to Chowchilla (Chowchilla, CA).
