Sheets Memorial Christian Eagles (Lexington, NC) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Mount Calvary Christian Warriors (Archdale, NC), 37-17 in a league bout.
With the win, Sheets Memorial Christian upgrades its record to 5-5 on the season. The Eagles travel to Calvary Christian (King, NC) to play the Cougar in a bout on Tuesday, February 14. The Cougar go into the bout with a record of 5-9.
Next up, the Warriors play the Fayetteville Street Christian Patriots (Asheboro, NC) in a bout, on Friday, February 3. Mount Calvary Christian will attempt to upgrade on its 1-6 season record. The Patriots go into the bout with a 4-9 record after their 42-34 league loss to Tabernacle Christian (Monroe, NC).
