Pisgah Bears (Canton, NC) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host Tuscola Mountaineers (Waynesville, NC), 53-22 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Pisgah upgrades its record to 14-4 on the campaign. The Bears host East Henderson (East Flat Rock, NC) to play the Eagles in a non-league bout on Friday, February 3. The Eagles come into the bout with a record of 15-3. East Henderson won 50-34 in their recent league bout against North Henderson (Hendersonville, NC)

Next up, the Mountaineers play the Smoky Mountain Mustangs (Sylva, NC) in a non-league battle, on Friday, February 3. Tuscola will attempt to improve on its 4-15 season record. The Mustangs come into the battle with a 1-17 record after their 54-38 league loss to Franklin (Franklin, NC).
