The Monte Vista Mustangs smashed the host Livermore Cowboys soccer squad by a margin of 5-0 in Tuesday's league match.
The Mustangs now sport a 14-1 record. They play next when they host De La Salle for a East Bay match on Thursday, February 2. Monte Vista will encounter a Spartans squad coming off a 2-0 league loss to Dougherty Valley (San Ramon, CA). The Spartans record now stands at 10-7.
With the loss, Livermore drops to 7-13 on the season. The Cowboys travel to Amador Valley (Pleasanton, CA) to encounter the Dons in a East Bay match on Thursday, February 2.
