With the win, Pearland upgrades its record to 18-12 on the season. The Oilers travel to Dawson (Pearland, TX) to play the Eagles in a 6A Region III District 23 bout on Saturday, February 3. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 23-7. Dawson won 64-46 in their recent league bout against Strake Jesuit (Houston, TX)

Next up, the Yellowjackets play the Shadow Creek Sharks (Pearland, TX) in a 6A Region III District 23 bout, on Saturday, February 3. Alvin will attempt to upgrade on its 9-20 season record. The Sharks go into the bout with a 26-2 record after their 66-43 league win over Alief Elsik (Houston, TX).
