American Collegiate Academy Rough Riders (Clearwater, FL) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Cristo Rey Tampa Panthers (Tampa, FL), 2-0 in a league bout.

With the win, American Collegiate Academy upgrades its record to 12-6 on the season. The Rough Riders travel to IMG Academy Black (Bradenton, FL) to clash with the Ascenders in a non-league bout on Thursday, February 1. The Ascenders go into the bout with a record of 4-12. IMG Academy Black lost 80-66 in their recent non-league bout against New Faith Christian Academy (Riverdale, GA)

Next up, the Panthers clash with the River Ridge Royal Knights (New Port Richey, FL) in a non-league bout, on Friday, February 2. Cristo Rey Tampa will attempt to upgrade on its 8-9 season record. The Royal Knights go into the bout with a 5-14 record after their 85-34 non-league loss to Lecanto (Lecanto, FL).
