Fans at Wednesday's league challenge between the Burroughs Burros (Ridgecrest, CA) and the visiting Apple Valley Sun Devils (Apple Valley, CA), saw Burroughs's basketball squad knock off Apple Valley by a tally of 66-49.

With the victory, Burroughs improves its record to 12-11 on the campaign. The Burros travel to Serrano (Phelan, CA) to play the Diamondbacks in a Mojave River challenge on Friday, February 2. The Diamondbacks come into the challenge with a record of 14-13. Serrano lost 67-43 in their recent league challenge against Oak Hills (Hesperia, CA)

Next up, the Sun Devils play the Sultana Sultans (Hesperia, CA) in a Mojave River challenge, on Friday, February 2. Apple Valley will attempt to improve on its 12-13 season record. The Sultans come into the challenge with a 6-20 record after their 111-23 league loss to Hesperia (Hesperia, CA).
