The Ashland Hornets basketball team (Ashland, ME), was overwhelmed 84-38 in Wednesday's league battle with the visiting Easton Bears (Easton, ME)
The Bears now possess a 10-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Washburn for a D North battle on Friday, February 2. Easton will battle a Beavers team coming off a 58-17 non-league loss to Fort Fairfield (Fort Fairfield, ME). The Beavers record now stands at 7-8.
The Hornets (6-9) will now prepare for their battle against Katahdin (Sherman Station, ME). The Cougars come into the D North battle with a 13-2 record. In their last battle, Katahdin trounced Central Aroostook (Mars Hill, ME), 68-45, in a league battle.
